Ease of Use: 10/10
These were the second AOI’s that we purchased but the same style as the initial ones we purchased, just a different brand. We started by buying one. The next week I bought another. Now a few months later I have 4 total and am wanting more.
These are a slightly modified one size cloth diaper. The lower weight limit is 8 pounds and the upward is 35 pounds. There is an extra row of rise snaps that most one size diapers don’t include to allow this diaper to fit even smaller babies. Pumpkin started wearing this at 8 pounds and while a little bulky, it definitely fit. I love the fact that he could start wearing this early, yet will still be able to use it for many months to come!
For a cheaper AIO, these are extremely great quality. The double gussets are stitched nicely, with no dangling threads, and the velcro is secure and strong. I’ve washed ours countless times and they are all holding up great. We line dry all our AIO’s, so if you choose to tumble dry (which these state you can do), that might impact the quality over time. We haven’t experienced any fading of the colors or loosening of the velcro and these diapers just keep getting more absorbent the more they’re washed. I also love the insert that comes with this diaper, I’ve been using it to stuff our pocket diapers and it is so much better than the microfiber ones!
Like I mentioned before, Pumpkin started wearing this diaper at 8 pounds. The fit was a little awkward and bulky because this is an all in one with sewn in absorbency and 8 pounds is pretty small. Even with the awkward fit, we didn’t have any leaks and he seemed really comfy. Now that he’s closer to 15 pounds, the fit is perfect! We haven’t changed any of the rise snaps yet, so I know this will continue to fit great for months to come. There is also a lot of room in the waist for continued growth. The hook and loop style allows for almost infinite possibilities of adjustment!
We did have one leak with these, but it was when Pumpkin was in his bouncer for hours in a new diaper that I had only washed once. I don’t think it was the fault of the diaper but rather a combination of the fact that I hadn’t prepped it enough, he was bearing all his weight on the crotch, and we went a really long time between changes!
Ease of Use:
Out of all the diapers we’ve tried, HappyEndings “Night, Night” AIO is by far the easiest to use (even daddy has yet to complain!). The absorbency is all sewn in so there’s nothing to fold or adjust. There is a pocket (and an insert) if you choose to stuff for extra absorbency, but we haven’t needed to utilize that feature just yet. The hook and loop closures allow for this cloth diaper to be put on just like a disposable, so easy! The only thing you need to remember when using this is to attach the velcro to the laundry tabs either after a diaper change or right before washing. Seriously, it doesn’t get any easier than this!
At $14.75-14.95 the HappyEndings “Night, Night” is cheaper than most other AIO’s on the market. It also comes with an extra charcoal bamboo insert, making it an even better value for your money. At that price you only have to use this diaper roughly 60 times before it starts saving you money. From personal experience, you will have no problem using this diaper 60 times because it is just so convenient. Whenever they’re clean, these are the diapers my husband always puts on Pumpkin.
With no solid colors and a plethora of prints, these diapers score highly on the cuteness factor. They don’t charge more for prints (although the cost of prints varies by as much as $0.20, oh no! ha) and there is a good variety of boy, girl, and unisex prints. I do wish there were a few more options available because if I were to make my stash entirely out of these I would have to double up on prints or get snaps instead of hook and loop.
The HappyEndings “Night, Night” diaper is a great AIO, especially considering the reasonable price and cute prints! These are the diapers we are consistently reaching for and love to use. The one other thing I want to mention is that these are a little warmer for baby than pocket diapers or covers, no big deal though, just don’t wear pants. 😉 Bottom Line: Yes, I would buy these again. And I have bought numerous more since our first one.
