Point

I particularly love this style of AIO (no flaps) for daycare or caregivers. They’re super easy for anyone to use but I still don’t have to unstuff any pockets for the wash. Yet, with this style, I can choose to easily stuff absorbency into the pocket and have it out of sight (no confusion) for daycare. These are so versatile and super easy to use.

Longevity:

This BambooDrive AIO is a one-size diaper meant to fit from birth through potty training, or roughly 7-33 pounds. While this diaper might be a little small on a newborn, you should easily be able to get two years of use out of it, as it should fit a variety of body sizes. These do have an inner gusset, like the pocket, which will allow you to use these diapers even with a bit of a leg gap (the internal gusset should catch most of the yuck).

Quality:

I’m continually impressed with the quality of BambooDrive diapers. We have been using this diaper for over four months now, and it looks and feels brand new still. The PUL is nice and soft without being too crinkly. The stitching is even, and I’m sure that this diaper will hold up to many more months of use. The only part I don’t really like about this diaper is that the bamboo can get a bit scratchy if I hang dry, it’s not a big deal, nor is it an issue if I throw this in the drier, but it is something to keep in mind.

Fit:

The BambooDrive Bamboo AIO fits Pumpkin great. At 22 pounds, he still has plenty of room left to grow in both the waist and the rise. This diaper also fit him great a few months ago- although he was on a smaller rise then. I can’t say that this diaper would provide a perfect fit for a tiny baby, although, with the hidden inner gussets, you could probably make it work. But I know it will fit well on a variety of baby shapes and should still provide through potty learning. We haven’t leaked with this diaper, and although we might have to boost this as Pumpkin gets older, I don’t anticipate any leaks with this diaper.

Ease of Use:

This Bamboo AIO by BambooDrive is straightforward to use. The absorbency is sewn in, so you don’t need to stuff, and there are no annoying flaps to deal with. This would be an excellent diaper for daycare, babysitters, or anyone apprehensive about cloth. There’s a belly band to help prevent leaks for tummy sleepers and sweet broad wings to avoid wing droop. There is a pocket if you want to stuff more absorbency into this diaper (for nighttime, naps, long days, etc.) but we’ve found the bamboo and microfiber sewn in absorbency to be enough for our moderate wetter.

The only part on this diaper that is a little bit more of a hassle is that it takes longer to dry than other styles. Because the absorbency of this diaper is sewn in, it doesn’t get as much airflow between the layers and takes longer to hang dry. What we’ve found works best is to hang dry this diaper overnight (or however long you usually bare pockets/covers) and then throw it in the dryer with the inserts for a full or half-dry cycle. That’s often enough to get this diaper dry.

Price:

At $12.99 each, you would only need to use each BambooDrive AIO about 52 times before they become cheaper than disposables. These are a very affordable AIO, especially when you take into account, they contain some bamboo, unlike some more reasonable, entirely microfiber AIO’s.

Cuteness:

BambooDrive offers some seriously adorable, outdoorsy prints. Not all prints are available in this style, but there are enough that you could build an ok stash without too many repeats. They also don’t offer a ton of solids, and I wish they would, but the cute animal/nature prints make up for that. They also release new editions a few times a year, so if you staggered your buying, you could build an entire stash without repeating much.

Overall:

This BambooDrive AIO offers some great features at an affordable price. I would highly recommend having a stash of these just for babysitters or cloth-nervous people who will be changing your kiddo. They’re easy to use, cute, and come at a reasonable price. Bottom Line: Yes, I would rebuy this. I love how this diaper fits Pumpkin, and I like the new prints that were just released.
